Behind the Lens: Capturing the Love Story of Julie & Alex

As a professional photographer, every session brings new excitement, new faces, and new stories. Each couple is unique, and it's my privilege to help capture their love story through my lens. Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Julie and Alex, a charming couple from New York, whose infectious love and joy made my job an absolute delight. The setting was none other than the breathtaking Hudson Valley. Known for its lush greenery and scenic beauty, it provides an idyllic backdrop for engagement photos. From the very beginning, Julie and Alex, exuded a love and happiness that was contagious. It was clear that they were excited to embark on this new journey together, and their energy was palpable throughout the session.The day started in Esopus, nestled in the heart of Ulster County. This charming town, with its historic sites and beautiful landscapes, was the perfect place to begin our photo session. As we ventured through the park, capturing candid moments and shared laughter, it was evident that Julie and Alex were comfortable with each other, and me, making the session flow effortlessly.One of my favorite shots from the day was taken in front of a rustic covered bridge. The way the light hit their faces, the genuine smiles they shared, and the overall composition of the photo was simply magical. It was one of those moments where everything aligned perfectly, and the result was a stunning photo that perfectly encapsulated their love. Throughout the session, I used my trusted Fujifilm camera. Reflecting on the session, I feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of Julie and Alex's journey. Their love story, set against the picturesque Hudson Valley, was a joy to capture.
